Maybe not too bad an idea to use our 3rd attack on someone else. if the person who suffers two attacks survives we can always give him another battering day after. Meanwhile the person who was hit will have to use healing resources.

I don't think anyone suspects that we're High Council. All of the players we're networking with aren't game veterans. Most of us have played two or three Phallas.
Monkeyfeet seems to be on the level, but I don't know for sure. He's the most experienced of the people we're in contact with, might be a liability. Solar's guard mason group is in contact with a seer though. If I had to pick between facebook friends and an actual seer, I know I'd go for the seer. Solar seems most likely to bail out on us, but he said he isn't going to mention our network. We'll have to wait and see.
I'll be setting up a proboards account for the network tonight. It'll likely be awkward as hell but it'll give us some level of management. I'll give you access to my account on that proboards, Alegis, so you can read along without giving yourself away.

I'm not sure if that's allowed in default phalla rules (no anonymous communication), but sure Doubt I'll follow it closely though, kinda busy enough with projects :< don't forget to set "Guests must log-in" to yes in the admin panel if you want to close off the forums from outsiders

gumpy wouldn't like it we kill adventfalls, one of his contacts. says he isn't AO. I'm inclined to believe gumps.
he offered to put me in contact with exigent but I'm not going to bite on that, exigent might be working closely with arcadian order. and we're only 3 peeps so we can't put ourselves in too much risk.
changing to two attacks on LoserForHireX and one attack on stever777

I'll doublecheck with Edcrab before making the proboards then.
Langly has an update on the engineer. I'll copypaste the message: ''Gumpy came through and has an engineer available. He wants either a promise of cooperation/protection, information, or some other token of good will before he will connect us.
Since we don't need the engineer right away, and since shooting off the gun on the first night would seem rash, not really knowing a good target, we can sit on this for now. Ideally, we can find a pinnacle seer who can validate the mechanic, and then go on a killing spree.
Right now, I'm was thinking of just letting Gumpy know that we didn't think he would find one that quickly, that we'll be back with some token either after tonight's narration or tomorrow.
The risk in that is if gumpy is assassinated, we'll lose that connection.''
I agree with his assessment, especially since we'd like to keep our fledgling network under heavy wraps right now.

i briefly made contact with Lawinator. I've since decided it's probably for the best i don't make contact again unless necessary.
Either i caught him at a bad moment, of he is already on the case to get things done. either way i don't want him sniffing around at the moment. He might come in handy later however. He's pretty good at research.

for posting votes/thread: try to avoid "im so confused! I dont know what to do!" or "well i guess ill do this because everyone does it" posts. Sometimes they attract attention from grumpy vets who think people are trying too hard to look as if they're not in the know/dumb, a newbie mafia mistake.
but I might be wrong on that 'sometimes'. There's a rule in phalla which states that everything someone does is suspicious.
And not doing anything at all is extra suspicious
There's only 3 of us, we cant afford getting killed for sniffing around. We'll just wait and see.
Once I know the Victory Conditions of a few factions for certain we can start real info trading and cooperation, but for now assume too many want us dead.

I put up the prospect of working together with SLyM.
He is willing but reluctant to share. This might be a loose end that becomes a liability. If i die in the next few days Kill SLyM.
Hopefully though his word proves true and i get something out of this.

whattttt
ok guys let's play more careful now and chill a bit on reaching out, there's only 3 of us - and we'll do plenty fine if we just survive and hint more firepower towards whatever has some sort of connection to our objectives
trying to find people to kill puts yourself in equal risk to be killed by those others. It's not worth it to trade 1 beta/AO for 1 High Council, we can't win by attrition.
